1. Summary

Abstract for the general public

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) kills one Australian every 12 minutes. It affects one in six Australians or 3.72 million. It managed to claim lives of over 43,000 Australians in 2013 which were largely preventable. There have not been any studies done in NQ that look at the risk factors predicting the development of a pathological coronary angiogram.
